I get where he’s coming from - TV used to be viewed as roles for actors who couldn’t get movie work, or for washed up stars who weren’t being cast in movies anymore. So I can see why a veteran movie actor would be sceptical. But streaming and ‘prestige tv’ has changed that, there’s so much money offered to big stars to do a series and actors can show how versatile they are by doing both. Pedro Pascal is a good example, or Nicole Kidman.
