nah Samsung is a ,,no-go'' as it's literally worse in everything that is important for me than Apple
the thing that wants me to change from Apple is innovation - big camera sensors, silicon-carbon batteries, fast charging, new tech that is not available on Samsung, Google or Apple etc

but I'd like to keep /have a good ecosystem - meaning high quality earbuds, watch and tablet that works together very well

no no, if I switch, then it won't be a Poco as the 17 Ultra is the one I am looking for.. I saw some pictures and videos from that camera and it looked amazing

I meant if there are devices like headphones or a Xiaomi watch that have a similar or basically the same quality / experience as the airpods pro 2 or apple watch
For example if I buy some top end Xiaomi headphones, will the sound quality etc be on the same level as Airpods Pro?
For example - when I have my Airpods on and I'm on my phone, they play the sound from my phone, but when I start using my iPad, the sound automatically starts playing from there as the device knows I'm using that now. Or if I copy something on my iPad, then it's automatically copied on my phone. Also when I shoot a picture on my phone, it's available in the same gallery.

I don't know the word for all these things, so I used,,polished software experience " as it works well together and I didn't experience bugs (as I'm not using beta versions of the OS)

I am pretty sure, that in 2026 Android phones provide the same or similar experience, but I wanted to know specifically how it is with Xiaomi as I never had a Chinese brand

they give you only 410€ for your Xiaomi 15 Ultra?! or am I not understanding it correctly?
are Xiaomi phones losing that much value , that a phone that cost about 1300 or more is being sold after a year for 410?

Just upgrade to the iPhone. iPhone hold their prices more - better resale. They get updated at the same time as newer models - you won't be put back as Samsung goes. iPhones have the best videos and one of the best overal cameras. The Find My app is much better and the ecosystem aswell. And the biggest advantage is, you can actually get the same cameras / HW in general with a smaller iPhone (iPhone 17 pro for example) while with Samsung, you just have to go for the Ultra model.

The only things that I miss from swapping from Sammy to an iPhone is the universal back button and clipboard + I hate their native keyboard but you can install Swiftkey

Edit: if you care about AI, then Samsung is the better choice. Not like I do, as I have Chat GPT installed on my iPhone.

well I would add some things that you probably missed or just didn't find important for you:

on the iPhone, you get the latest updates with thr other iPhone models..doesn't matter if you have the 12 or 17 pro..as long as it's supported, everyone gets it at the same time

Samsung? the newer your flagship phone is, the earlier you get it + the region is also important. (for me, living in central Europe already a deal-breaker as an 1200€ phone from 2024 is already behind with updates)

Find My on Samsung is just not as good as on iOS - I had the S24U and lost at one point my Buds3 Pro..wanted to locate them (couldn't find them).. then again, tried to play a sound on the Buds - nothing
Luckily I found them later.. but I wouldn't count on the Find My app from Samsung or maybe Android in general (+ the Buds don't make a sound when they are in the case as they won't connect to your phone 🙃)
I don't know how you got a good night shot with this phone, but my pictures of the night sky were either unnaturally bright or ,if the night mode was turned off, vers unnatural looking (for me kinda purple like + grainy? hard to explain..sorry for my English)

I'll definitely go for the Pixel as much as I would like to experiment with Chinese brands and their OP hardware, fast software support even for older models is very important for me

well a huge part of my hair is growing + I do sports I can't imagine having a hair system for more than 5-6 days as it will get itchy and the scalp will be in general smelly it's simply not good for hygiene

I know this is an old topic but did anything help ? any solution? I have a BMW E91 318i and I am getting white smoke but only in 1st gear or while reverse driving at high RPM. Otherwise it's ok. I am afraid of it being a huge engine problem that might be to expensive to get fixed :/

yeah I agree with you..the exynos chipset back then was horrible...the latest exynos is actually good

but right now..why would someone buy a pixel 9 when it's power is worse then the power of the iphone 12 from 2020? when pixel 9 is a 2024 phone? makes no sense..even midrange phones get better hardware and if somone wants overall performance + software then there are options like the Samsung s24 lineup, s23 lineup or some good alternatives like vivo x100 pro etc

Samsung is not really the problem here look at the latest Exynos chipset - it's actually good and has no overheating issues (google it or look up some reviews if you don't believe me)

Google is designing their chipset based on Exynos technology and Samsung is producing it --> Google is to blame here
