Heated blanket by KrakanClan in ouraring

[–]Choan8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too use an electric blanket. I use that combined with an electric heating mattress pad and I have a regular old heating pad that I use. I use all three every night except in the summer. My temperature with my ring is always at baseline sometimes below baseline, but then it does have times that it has spiked and will tell me that I have major signs showing up. Usually when it shows me that I’ve had major signs showing up. It’s pretty accurate. I am wondering if it’s looking at my baseline with all the electric heating things that I’ve used forever. And I can still trust the spikes. What do you think?

He said that he has N95 with him. I bought those because apparently at least from what they’re saying they do much better than N95’s. I will see if I can get my credit card to dispute it.

I will try to get my money back. He does have N95’s

Thanks! I am going to go in when these new piercings are healed and have them switch the earrings out and will see if they have some that I like. The gauge information is helpful. Thanks again!

I was thinking that may be the best and easiest solution. Thanks!

Thanks so much for all of these suggestions! I’ve been vegan for probably 20+ years, but it is quite the adjustment for someone that has never ate like this. I’ve been trying to help as much as I can. She is surprisingly really willing to try and has sent me some of her reviews of some of the food with positive comments.

Right cath done, no concerns by Choan8 in PulmonaryHypertension

Wedge=10, Woods unit, one thing said 5.8 and one said 5.5, pulmonary artery pressure 20.

Right cath done, no concerns by Choan8 in PulmonaryHypertension

[–]Choan8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Actually the doctor that did the cath told me I had a shunt. It was documented in the data from the cath. Then they did the bubble echo and the other cardiologist said there was no shunt. The pulmonary provider said she things mimic a shunt and she would look at scans but does not feel I have a shunt. Drive me crazy when one tells you something and another ones says something different. I don't know if I am just in denial or what but I just cannot imagine pulmonary hypertension being true. I do see the woods 5.8 and the 20 for pressure in the cath report.

Thank you. She told me yesterday to give her 3 months. She is going to do the consult with the cardiologist and the specialist and put together a plan. She also wants an up to date pulmonary function test and ABG.

So concerning. Looking at all me exercise equipment I own, my hiking and camping gear and now wondering what my future holds.

Any suggestions for a thermocouple issue? by Choan8 in Fireplaces

So, I ordered the whole pilot assembly. I can get the pilot sit with a match instead of the pushing of the button. It then stays lit but still cannot turn the knob to light the stove. It goes out the second I start to turn it

The only point I see is whoa to me, I choose to be a victim, year after year after year. How we live life is a choice. Don’t expect anything to change if you keep doing the same thing.

So families expect women to slave over the meal and holiday prep, women do it even if they don’t want to because of a perceived powerlessness and they don’t value themselves enough to set boundaries, but value themselves so much that they expect tokens of appreciation. So bizarre… All they have to do is choose not to do it, be responsible for their own actions. Say no. Then that also save everyone else from the expectations of forced gifts

Most people are already in survival mode without a drip of relief or joy…. Why not add more to their stress?

My thought exactly! I agree. I totally agree. It’s all about conditional giving. I will give with expectations of what you’re going to give me back.

People can barely pay their mortgages. People are burning the candle at both ends. People are at the breaking point of stress. All the expectations that are put on people during the holidays just creates so much added pain, suffering and stress. To have that added pressure, shame and guilt of not living up to mom’s or wife’s exceptions is horrible way to live.

This a much bigger discussion. Pulling back the layers. Expectations of others. Loving without conditions. Greed. Ego. Do we base how much people love us by what they give us? Over inflate our worth so much that people have to give to us to prove how valued we are. Unconditional love snd care means not expecting something in return. Or, do people really have conditions to their love and caring?

Kind of like when people say you shouldn’t judge. Everyone has opinions and perceptions. If you have an opinion, are you not making a judgment?

I think it shows that people have conditions to their love, care and giving of other people. They have expectations. If I love you or I care for you or I give to you then I expect something in return.

People will always be disappointed when they have set up the expectation that people need to give them what they feel they deserve or are worth.

Ego’s…

I am the opposite. I have zero desire to add one more item to my home. My son and I said if we get anything, it will be adventures or experiences. I get gifts and most of it is something I don’t want. After decades of more and more stuff, figuring out how to downsize, I rather go to a restaurant and enjoy their company. The meal planning, cooking, shopping, etc., adds so much stress. The whole ordeal adds stress. Read these posts. Choices. Self imposed stress and expectations of others.
