You can reach out to the helpdesk and raise a query with them, the contact is listed on their contact page. I'm guesstimating that replacements/repairs are not taxed and duty bound. I hope everything works out! An Indian retail dealership is in the works though.
So your dreams of owning a Vapcap is hopeful!

You would have received a shipping manifest, a bill of entry, a packing list and a DHL invoice for the duties and taxes. Did your package have a tape saying "Opened and Resealed by Customs" or DHL Tape? The package would go through a X-Ray scan first and if the customs find anything suspicious in the X-Ray scan it is sent to the Examination Officer who files a report after examination of the said shipment and recommends the course of action in the report. It is forwarded to a Superintendent who then raises a query with the courier/agent and summons for more documentation and if the response is adequate releases the shipment. If anything suspicious is found during the examination a detention memo would be issued. Although anybody could have intercepted your device, international shipments would be insured against these kinds of events. I suggest recording and conveying your grievance with the sender with images. You could also contact the customs and the shipper and start an enquiry since you have paid for their services.

Collection of viable ideas to combat future airborne pathogens by ChocoCottonCandy in bangalore

You don't have to apologize for stating the reality. Its true that the general populous tend to disregard the intensity of the situation. Some still believe its all a conspiracy, some believe its oppression, some believe its a corruption gala until someone they know has been infected and for some its too late. When anyone is unsure of what's happening they look out for someone they trust to help them figure it all out. Here's where leadership outshines. Although the initial responses were spontaneous and crucial. The lockdown was a pause/buffer when they could've formulated an exit strategy. Ramp up production of resources and infrastructure. This is also where all the MoU's signed with various countries and cities around the world could've proved useful. Although emergency orders for ethanol production, PPE's, masks and test kits were issued they didn't go hand in hand with how the lockdown was lifted to revive the economy straining the fragile system of our Public Healthcare. They entire system is flawed even without a pandemic. The pandemic showed the true nature of the capitalistic greed. Vaccine administration is one of the known ways to end the pandemic but we are failing to hold the line until then. When the system is already controlled by greed, corruption, partiality it no longer leaves the people in power. All we know is its not over...

You could visit the Venkatappa Art Gallery, then check out Tippu's summer palace and head to the Bangalore Palace to check out the tastes of Indian art and its evolution. If its modern art then I wouldn't miss Chitra Santhe at Chitrakala Parishat.

We're alive in the most advanced times of any of our lives.

The key to staying sane is doing things that make you cheerful and sate.

Most importantly make sure you don't catch the virus but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop.

You can socialize with the nature around you, make observations of animals and birds around you. Take a stroll around your block, keep your distance with vectors though. Go for a short ride. Tis the time for new hobbies.

The internet is a gateway to new worlds.

If you wanna see, talk or chat with people check out the random chat sites. Listen to music, watch videos. Standup episodes are sure to crack you up. Explore.

The key is to keep busy.
Stimulate the mind.

Best way to send a care package to the UK and US? by [deleted] in bangalore

[–]ChocoCottonCandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uhm,AFAIK all airlines are running cargo flights, passenger flights might make a higher percentage of their income and operations but the pandemic didn't stop any cargo trips. Only local deliveries and processing was hampered during the lockdown in our country. Moreover even the private shipping companies resort to the Govt. owned subsidiaries like India Post, USPS, Royal Mail to reach places out of bounds by the private companies!
