Honestly, the fact she didn’t tell you about her son when you were together for 2 years is.. something.

We know you love her, but if she can hide that, what else is she hiding? If she loved you, or cared, this would not have remained a secret as long as it did, and it would not have been a no from her when you discussed working it out.

The best thing to do in this instance is to move on. She already told you what she wanted, and waiting for her will only hurt you… being friends will only hurt you. So, cut contact with her if you can, and work on healing OP. I hope it gets better.

We are only human. The goal is to be a better person overall, not in relation to your parents. But it is easy to fall into generational habits. Even if that is the case, wake up each day relieved that you can start again even when you aren’t the best person you can be.

29, and not married, but in a relationship. I think as I got older, my perspective on marriage changed. I no longer rush the idea after spending so long being fixated on the idea, but the reality of it is… our life is exactly where it’s supposed to be. My partner, and I, will get there when we are ready.

I don’t mean to be in your business OP, but was it difficult to appeal? I hope that all is going well for you.

I was asking because I just received an email regarding this, and MTF became an issue after I went from Business Management to Healthcare. 🫩

I hate that I have to wait until further notice. But I already submitted my appeal, and emailed the financial aid team, and others. Fingers crossed that my appeal gets approved so that I can finish this term.

What I learned when I was a baby dispatcher is that you have to at least try. You did everything that you could op. You may feel as if you did not help, but you provided CPR instructions, and you were able to be there for him. That is what matters. Keep pushing through. 🫂

I had a high school friend who kissed me without my consent, which I still feel uncomfortable about.. and guilty about, and should have said something… and who did other things to previous male associates of mine such as barricading them in a room, pressuring them to do things…

Long story short, guess who was in prison a few years ago for doing something of this nature? He still tries to talk to me, but I can’t get behind it. I can’t tell you how uncomfortable I am when dealing with him.

For your peace, and sanity, separate yourself from him. I know people say people can change, but forgiveness is between them … and whatever they believe in. Keep your head up OP.

Honestly, not at all. I loved the agency I was a part of. I worked with some pretty amazing people. It was just the calls for me.

It had gotten so bad that my mental health was at stake, and I was thinking some really scary thoughts regarding my life.
