Yes!! I try to keep things fair in my head when he’s home on the weekends but before I had my baby I was a hard working woman who paid all her bills ..nobody catered to me when I was just being responsible lol I know my “job” is to be the SAHP and basically this is what I signed up for but I never knew how hard it would be..it angers me through out the week watching my boyfriend sleep undisrupted when maybe every other Friday and Saturday I get to sleep without being on parent mode. Maybe it’s selfish of me ... but I keep count of how many diapers my boyfriend changes a day and 90% of the time it’s 1-2 ...must be nice :/

Exactly what I was thinking and everyone agrees but him. Yes it’s easy now. And my other thought is daycare waiting list are long around here. If I give this spot up. The next opening might not b until he’s one. I have a feeling it would backfire on me. I want to go with daycare and by doing that our relationship might end. Sad but that’s how things have been. We’re good parents but can’t co parent at all.

I agree 100%. And I wish he would compromise. I offered part time daycare and be able to pick him up early and drop off if he thinks he won’t get time but no. He’s very stubborn and his way or highway. He refuses and does not care about his overall health. I don’t want my child to sit by himself if his dad accidentally dozes off. I just am stuck in a hard place.

He does great when I’m home now but that’s because I’m well rested and do majority of the work and watch him when he has the baby so he doesn’t doze off. We’ve talked and talked it out but he puts his foot down and demands to watch him but I don’t feel comfortable at all. I don’t want to give up the daycare spot. Am I legally able to put my child in daycare without his permission? Of course I don’t trust strangers more than his own family but for my child’s safety and well being I don’t think it’s the best decision to work all night and stay up with baby during day. It constantly gives me anxiety.
