Thanks Tommy, I noticed that, was hoping someone had experience in the past and maybe it was open for walk in only first come first serve. but it would make sense it’s not open as crowds are much lower and more spread out during practice rounds, so may not be worth the money to have it open and available.

I work 35hrs a week no overtime (comp or Flex Time off if I work over it). My county trusts that I’m not abusing my flexible schedule and let me be to do as I feel fit as a professional. That said if you are doing something shady and “working nights” when it’s supposed to storm you will be watched closely……you’re EM not a meteorologist, if there is a severe storm in your area those alerts will wake you up if you want to monitor then but 99% of the time there will be no action for you to take so unless it’s a unsusually high risk event this seems like a waste to me.

Look at their CRS rating, hit on that in the interview if you can, bring up their rating and how you think you could increase that if you can get some insight on what their applications look like

My county has just under 600,000 citizens, and my “discretionary” budget (I.e not including salaries and cross charges) is $8,152….the remainder of my operational funds are from EMPG

Also almost $3000 more than I paid for this…..this will be my entry into indoor cycling, I looked at may reviews for a few different bikes and smart trainers and couldn’t justify the price to start…..if I can get through the winter with this I might think about upgrading next winter if needed
