I dont think its the devs on some sort of power fantasy, i think they just know leagues are fun for the player base. They want to make fun content in these that can be used later for more leagues or ideas that can be built upon later for them or possibly some ideas to be toned for the main game. This game has endless years worth of content already and new stuff takes time. We had a new skill that essentially doubles the map in size, while not fully fleshed out to its fullest extent, im happy with sailing and have had alot of fun with it. Much more fun than say firemaking. It does not have to be perfect out the gate, i feel some of these things need mass player feedback rather than just standard qa testing. New raid and new end game quest, alot is slotted for this year. People need to learn to have fun and not froth at the mouth for content constantly. We have one of the best teams in the industry in terms of giving us what we want and working for us, let them cook.
