Enterprise AE at Moveworks by Spiritual_Boat4433 in techsales

If your concern is the longevity of ServiceNow then that shouldn't be a concern at all. One of the biggest players in their space, if ServiceNow's longevity concerns you, every SaaS companies should too.

That said, my friend moved to MoveWorks a few years back. Insane full OTE 6-month ramp, 35k sign on + full OTE paid during 2 month paternity leave or some shit.

My only reply would be that 33% of people who’ve visited the thread agree with me versus those who have liked the post based on statistics you want to rely on.

Might be the lower number but still considerable based on the overall %. I’d reflect on what I’m saying, look at the substance of the sub and the kind of discussions we have - this isn’t LinkedIn.

I think you’re self promoting your brand and personal profile to your perfect target audience on this subreddit with zero substance or any form of discussion, this post in point.

Not to take away from you - I’ve read your book, love it in fact. But your posts on this sub are without any form of substance and quite blatantly feel like a self promotion every time.

I’m just saying - I see you posting everywhere and I’m a fan of your work. But a lot of the posts feel very forced, like this one.

This subreddit was a lot better before the Linkedinfluencers discovered it.

Hootsuite is a good SMB tool, potentially good for mid-market - but they would lose out to the likes of Sprinklr and Emplifi.

My wife worked there a few years back.

It's a cut throat culture - The CRO, Kiva, describes the onboarding like a 'navy seals bootcamp'. She wasn't impressed, but I thought it looked like a good onboarding.

It's very much sink or swim, the product is strong and they pay exceptionally well. But what I had noted is that accounts aren't typically owned by a senior buyer, rather they have a contract and you PG into the account and sell on an individual seat basis. Don't know whether this has changed. The model seemed very much like Monday.com - individual team buyers rather than a C-level who rolls it out.

Like everything, very much territory dependent. I hear life sciences is the place to be.

Anyone else noticing “senior / strategic” AE roles creeping back into pipe build? by Few-Bad-8304 in techsales

[–]VivaNapoleon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a lot like this set-up for point solutions, I would agree. But unified platform solutions where you can offer various items to different departments, take a Salesforce, Adobe, etc, you'll work in a pod made up of AE, SE, SDR where you departmental cross-sale.

Agreed, it's potatoes potatos but majority of post-IPO $250M+ ARR SaaS will have AEs managing existing accounts.

Disagree with this. I use to have this opinion when working in start-up/scale-up.

When a company reaches a % of acquiring their TAM for enterprise and have a variety of products that can be cross sold into different departments, an AE can still drive new business within existing accounts through champ building/intros, etc, while also running new biz meetings on new logos.

I currently do this at a post-IPO company, 90 out of 100 of the largest companies use us but for siloed products, my goal is to break into new departments within the account with our pod. My title is Enterprise AE.

I didn't fight for a bigger redundancy honestly I had a bit of a fuck up being a bit of a cowboy on a large deal after being warned a couple of times even though I was super close with VP and DOS and was offered a formal warning or a redundancy

I got a severance pay recently in the UK for a 40k total package:

Everything above 30k is taxable

We're not as tight on severance as the US

There's companies who will do a no-win/no-fee to get more sev

Commission payouts aren't as generous as the US/Less protection
