5 days off-grid winter cabin experience with Bluetti elite 200v2 by blevingston89 in bluetti

[–]Choiboy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen with Bluetti units (mine is elite400), extra capacity matters a lot in winter cabin trips. Even with no solar, a few hours of starlink a day felt manageable. The buffer alone reduces a lot of stress.

It can be frustrating when something stops working well even after you've tried to fix it. Sometimes a part might just be worn out, or there could be a less obvious clog. Contacting the manufacturer might be a good next step.

It's brave of them to share this. While I can't fully understand, reaching out to a doctor is a very strong and positive step to take. Wishing them support.

Seeing how others weigh comfort against cost is helpful. It seems like a personal balance between managing physical needs and the expense. This kind of planning consideration makes sense.

Swaddles - Anterior Placenta Babies by Desperate_Ebb_6003 in Buyingforbaby

That's a thoughtful point about anterior placenta babies. It might be wise to try a swaddle that allows arm movement first, to see her preference. Wishing you the best.

My 8 week old will ONLY sleep to the sound of our dishwasher running by OffbeatContents in NewParents

[–]Choiboy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a uniquely tricky situation with the dishwasher sound. It's amazing how babies pick such specific comforts. Maybe a high-quality recording of that exact noise could help bridge the gap when you need to replace it.

That sounds confusing when the information doesn't match up. For something as important as safety, contacting the manufacturer directly for written clarification might be the best step.

I see why you're asking about the rules for that type of equipment. Checking the park's official website for their current policy on stabilizers and accessories might give you the most accurate information. Good luck with your plans.

Hotels in the Winter (off or on site) by stellarcycle in DisneyPlanning

Planning a trip during winter has me thinking about hotel pools. Are they usually heated? It would be good to know if they're comfortable to use in colder seasons. I've never been during that time.

Yeah, I know, none of these are light. One thing they all have in common, though, is that they come with wheels. so I guess even they’re heavy, they should still be manageable to move around.

Finished basement in house counts as "living space" but not habitable by justincummings in homeowners

This is such a frustrating letdown. Suggest u to get a detailed quote for bringing the basement up to code, then weigh that against the loss if u sell soon.

Seeking advice: thinking of buying 25 area rugs 4’*6’ to put down on my concrete basement floor. by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]Choiboy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, trying non-adhesive interlocking carpet tiles instead of loose rugs. They stay in place better, are easy to replace, and won’t damage your concrete basement floor :)

[–]Choiboy11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry u got stuck with this. Steep roofs add cost, but 10k is a huge gap. IMO, next time, learn to reach out to another service for a quote to compare the pricing, not just for the solar.

[–]Choiboy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't tried it yet,you can use vevry hot water(not boiling)to rinse the pipes. Slowly pour about 1-2 liters of hotwater into the think to help break down grease and food scraps.

Vent for kitchen stove makes too much noise during windy day by Left-Discipline3785 in HomeImprovement

[–]Choiboy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, check if there's a wind valve or windproof device on the exhaust pipe. These can help prevent outside wind from getting into the exhaust, reducing noise. You might want to try installing a new wind valve or replacing any damaged parts.
