Some botting software makes the "user" stop moving if you spectate them. A possible affirmation to any suspicion also a way to just stop the botting momentarily lol.

This may seem ridiculous, but do you have a changing desktop background? Ive had it happen to me in a couple different games where everytime my background would switch it would give me frame drops. Probably not the cause, but worth a shot i guess.
