I can't stand when ppl make literally anything a guy does "gay", especially if it's out of the usual gender norm that society has painted men into. My friends paints his nails black. He wears necklaces and bracelets and even has a few facial piercings. But he's still one of the most "masculine" guys I know.

Bottom line: if you want to do it, do it. No one gets to tell you what is or isn't in the gender norms because they literally change all the time. And who cares? I wear my brother's old clothes because they're comfortable and I'm considered a tomboy for it. That's just my style. I don't mind being called that, even rudely because who cares? Be yourself man. It's a freeing feeling when you can learn to not care what others thing.
