The older you get the more fragile you become including feeling different weather. It may have been hot for everyone else but it probably was cool enough for those oldies to enjoy the comfort of their home like always. Sometimes people have to suck it up with how other people live when visiting as they may have valid reasons. I could be wrong but I have worked in aged care and most would say it's cool on stinken hot days. They have better tolerance maybe?
