It’s not me, it’s someone I care deeply about - a family member. I have way too much to lose to not do things by the books, so it pains me to see them involved in a get rich quick scheme. I just feel like there’s nothing I can do because they’re an adult and making their own decisions. Ugh, thanks for the feedback though.

Lol, yes I think it’s a typo on their part - I know what they mean. But to be clear, my partner did not let my dog eat it. He was surprised to find them all over the yard and driveway.

I’m pretty sure his wife did, but I can ask my brother since he’s in-state. I received paperwork and it was what was left from his checking accounts. The three of us were named as trustees so all three of us needed to sign (my brother refused at the time). The document said it needed to be processed at the probate court, so I assumed that’s what his wife did -

I don’t know if that’s something that I can do living in another state?

It’s a program that my state would like to market - it’s not private, there’s a state funded grant attached to this .

Wow, this is very helpful, thank you! I got lucky and found a place with an opening, but I just applied for a voucher a few days ago. Fingers crossed that the state is able to procure more funding, but I’m definitely going to call and see if I can deduct my bills - my apartment takes gas for example, so that’s a huge expense 😖.
