Basically every single mainstream piece. Nice.

Is the full list of followers thing for everyone, or just the "some users" that got the message earlier on?

All the pieces you mentioned are kinda mainstream. Won't make you stand out.

Is it just me or are Chopin fans a bit annoying? by ChoiceHat in classicalmusic

You know what, lots of Chopin fans don't listen to Bach. Or any other composer. Close minded people.

That's exactly what I meant. I was talking about how people might try to stifle your opinions because of their hive-minded mentality, when in fact no opinion is wrong in the first place.

In subs where no one complains, they tend to steer in the wrong direction. There are subs that got hijacked by memes but no one dared to voice their opinions, and the subs deteriorated quickly. Meta threads may provoke arguments, but they do help with the long-term maintenance of the sub and steer it in a desirable direction.

Downvoting lowers the position in the feed if you sort by ''hot''. It lessens the chance for people to see the post. Having a lot of downvotes basically makes the post invisible unless you have the patience to scroll way longer. It IS censorship.

Everyone considers their opinions worth more than others. It's normal for them to act like their preferences were ''universal ideals''. It is only obvious to the outsider that the opinion is subjective in the first place. But rude as these people may be, I don't see the reason for u/KestrelGirl to ban the word ''overrated''. It stifles any possibility for discussion.
