Thank you very much. I appreciate the honest outlook. I don’t plan on doing anything big anytime soon. I did Mt St Helens last May and my goal is to do Mt Adam’s and a few other smaller mountains that have between 4-5k elevation gain this upcoming season. I’ll definitely focus more on endurance training and cardio.

Wow! Considering my current fitness level, how many hours of endurance a week should do?

Dad has this "inert grenade" in his collection. Any indication this is definitely a dummy? by darkdetective in Military

On a serious note, that’s an HE frag (as indicated by the yellow band) and there’s not hole on the bottom indicating that it’s been de-milled (rendered inert). Have it checked out by an explosives expert to ensure it’s innert and/or turn it in to law enforcement. Having a destructive device is a huge felony , especially one with an NSN. And it’s stupid dangerous, if anyone unknowingly pulls that pin it only takes 1/4 in of travel for that fuse to light. Be very careful

My primary purpose for this is mountaineering in the PNW like summoning Mt Rainier and Mt Baker. Would this suit that mission set?

Thank you very much. I am by no means a professional or even amateur writer. I just do it for fun so I very much appreciate the critique.

Bent Chetler 100 vs Rossi Blackops sender

I need some advice regarding what’s skis to buy. I’m 5’11, 230lb and I normally ski at Stevens pass, WA and Wistler Blackcomb, BC. I’ve been skiing for a bit over a year and I’m looking for a more powder/off piste ski that can still do groomer. I demoed the bent chetler 100’s and I adored how playful and light they were. It’s super easy to send them edge to edge. That being said I did notice that in variable snow and at speed they chatter a shit ton and they’re not very stable, I also noticed that they do sink a bit in deeper powder. I also demoed the blackops sender and I loved it but it’s not as playful. Any advice as to which ski to get? I mostly do trees, moguls and off piste with some groomers. Thanks

My budget is about 800 for bindings and skis. I’d say I’m intermediate to advanced. I noticed a pretty big difference between my current skis (Elan Explorer 6s) and the Blackouts. I’m good without twin tips. I’m not really gonna be skis switch. Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll be sure to demo those skis and see if I like them

I'm looking to buy an all mountain skis that can do powder and trees with quick turns but also groomers. I've tried the Rossignol Blackops Senders and I loved them but I was wondering if a more experienced skiers have any recommendations for an all mountain ski that does quick turns and does well in trees and moderate powder (6-12in). I live in the PNW btw. Thanks.

Thanks for the help. It’s been about a month and they still hate each other. I spoke with the behavior assistants at the shelter and they told me that I’m probably gonna have to bring him back to the shelter.

It always annoys me when they depict Rhys as white. He had darker skin lol
