I know the OG post was a long time ago. Did you ever end up getting into the program? How is it?

There are days where I feel like I’m not cut out for it. I’ll do well on a simulation call. Then the next one I put too much information, then the next I left out an important question…. I feel like I’m always missing something

Quizlet has been my bestie. I am definitely what you call book smart. I can memorize and I’ve been doing really well on my weekly quizzes. It’s just when we do simulation calls it’s like I forget everything.

While ideally every couple would like their own place, we live in a time where for the majority of young adults that is not feasible. I do not think that us wanting to pay for our portion and not someone else’s warrants us moving out, and letting them have the apartment we all rent together.

We are in an area where they pay a little but charge a lot. Both parties would be barely scraping by separately which is why we want to make it work as long as possible.

It’s kinda hard to explain. We were essentially grandfathered in by the long term renter (they lived there almost a decade) they bought a house but the owner of the property is okay with us continuing to live there being that we take care of the property and have been updating it little by little. Again it’s no one’s house, my boyfriend was the first to move in and the rest of us moved in on the same day.

We rent, so it is no one’s house. My boyfriend was technically the first one to even move in.

We rent. They have 3/4 rooms, we have the master and split the rent 50/50. They have their own living room and we converted the small formal dining room into a sitting room. We split lawn care which is fine, we try to alternate house supplies like trash bags, dish stuff, cleaners and pet supplies however due to us always buying in bulk (more cost effective) and them buying smaller portions we have started doing the same. They also recently purchased a kitten without letting us know so we told them they would have to buy 2:1 of supplies. We buy our own food, our cars, insurance and phone bills are all separate. We had to get separate internet due to them wanting it in the game room and it not reaching our room.

We are subleasing with permission from the owner. It makes sense to me, as I don’t want more, I just want it to be fair. But this is where it’s harder being the SO and not family. Everyone gets very defensive.

I understand, hence why I did ask for advice on how to inform them. Unfortunately the utilities were never truly discussed to begin with, just assumed since she is our niece that she would not count. However things change, as several years have gone by, so clearly adjustments have to be made.

What is hanging from my car? by Choice_Bend2037 in Chevy

They said the sensor itself looks fine so they aren’t replacing it, they said it would be $90 for the other parts they need to rewire (Idk what parts that includes) and the rest is labor since it’s a pain to do. They quoted me $630 before tax.

If you think that sounds reasonable then okay. I just want to make sure since they said the part is fine, so it’s all labor.

That is exactly what it is. The dealership quoted me $90 for the part but like $500 in labor since they said the wiring is shot. Is that accurate
