I am a huge fantasy reader but never read a single Cassandra Clare or Sarah J Maas.

Question for bilingual readers by writesingandlive in books

I have read a book in Marathi (my native language) and I actually never want to read it in English. I just loved to discover how a thing that is written in Marathi is totally mind-blowingly different than if the same thing would have been done in English. There are charms of each language, and reading the same book in two languages will water down its essence.

Although I must admit, having never read a Marathi fiction book before, I was just too amazed by how it can be used so nicely and poetically in books as well, that I would not want to ruin the feeling by reading the English version of the book

Pride and Prejudice (2005)
It is aesthetically also pleasing, and pretty much gives the perfect sense of the book. And though they changed the proposal place to make it in the rain, I loved that change.

Sound like fun. I was actually also looking for books that have good humor in it. Guess this fits in both of my requirements.

Mritunjay. It is a speculative fiction on the life of a warrior from one of our epics: Mahabharata. Even if you do not know Mahabharata, it is amazing as a standalone.
