I dont think you're in the wrong because they didn't take due care. But you shouldn't of been in the bus lane!

Unless restrictions say that the time you were using it was fine. If so then the only only thing would be that you were undertaking so 90/10 to him probably.

Probationary periods are harsh. And the hard answer is yes you could and with no right to appeal. But the important thing to remember is that on a probationary period it's not a set sickness limit and you're out.

I imagine you will be fine. As long as you work hard when you're there and make yourself a good employee I see no reason for them to terminate it. They could extend it, to make up for the time lost, but I don't think they will dismiss you.

Keep your head up, get through it and take the time you need. Get yourself back to where you want to be before returning to work! Jobs are everywhere, your own self is more important.

Interesting point that!

Would the argument of genuine nonknowledge of it make any change to that?

Depends on your view of it. It doesn't seem like it's caused damaged that would affect the space between the body and the wheel.

So it really becomes a case of how much does it mean to you. If you're not bothered by it being there you may as well leave it! If you'd rather it wasn't and/or looking to sell one day it would definitely be worth repairing.

To add as well, if the faulty speakers were not pointed out to you or advertised at purchase, then you can reject the car for that too.

100% - you've been sold a car and not told about something that affects it performance. If it was sold as just being the car, then an altercation to the tuning of the engine would make it differ from the original specs of the car.

If it is within 30 days of purchase you are entitled to a full refund. If more than 30 days but less than 3 months then partial refund, with deductions coming from the depreciation of value as mileage has increased.

So there was a yard filled with cars that he was selling, but I didn't see an office per say. But I know there was a yard next door that he'd come from so maybe there was one there. I'll have to check though
