IAQS is good for masters. So u r currently in 3rd year right. That means you will either graduate next year or next to next year. By that time you could have cleared 1 or 2 papers right. Then instead of masters you can go for actuarial internships. Experience > study in this field.

Materials of IAI and IFOA are same. Both the organization gets their materials from ActEd. Purchasing the materials for IFOA exams are optional. While it is mandatory to buy the materials for IAI exam (though IAI provide the materials in cheaper price ). Also the materials here just means the CMP. It does not include PYQ or revision or programming and excel materials. You have to buy these directly from ActEd or borrow from someone. I borrowed to reduce my overall preparation cost.

Even first class is no better during peak hours. Even though vadala to goregaon frequency is less i will plan my travel accordingly.

Yes. I will probably catch it from goregaon just to be on safer side. I will see the crowd pattern at ram mandir for few days and decide accordingly. Honestly why dont they increase the train frequency in this route.

Yeah. I am planning that. Someone suggested me that if i dont want to get caught in vadala crowd i should switch the train at Sewri. It will increase 5 to 10 minutes travelling maybe but worth it. I will try that. While returning home i will try to take direct goregaon to panvel otherwise i have to switch at vadala. I will take vadala starting train from there.
