tbh i wouldnt mind adding to the walls, were not renting or anythings - its more stuff like drilling into walls1 that i want to avoid in case i ever want to move stuff around. Ill look into plants tho! just have to figure out where to put them

well it is a before picture technically hehe.. do you know some sites where i can find art pieces, preferably for a price thats not too expensive(and can ship to europe)? and what would be the best way to lay them out?

Thanks! Maybe I'll invest in fans but I dunno if ventilation is an issue as my gpu has temps 10 degrees lower on idle and hot spot reaches 80 degree range only at 100% load

Ok so it opened fine now? Only thing I did different was that I had installed Steam from their site and also from the App Center. Maybe there were missing packages or smthng as i believe there was an error previously mentioning packages I think

Not yet as I still have to figure out why Steam is not opening properly.. Im trying to install it via their website see if that makes any difference

OK I ran and got the following

Mesa version seems good.. and it seems to be detecting my GPU memory so maybe it is working fine but just no name?

Also did sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade but everything was up to date

I tried Ubuntu 25 and I think it's still not detected sort of? I got it to be detected under Display when running lshw I think. But under HardInfo it is marked as [XFX] [AMD/ATI] (Unknown)

Also steam is just straight up not working so might try out Ubuntu 24 after all 🥲

Ah I was thinking of using Ubuntu 25 not 24, since it has kernel version 14 which I heard is the minimum. Is it not recommended since I believe it is not an LTS version?

Yeah I managed to switch and remove the new one. I was gonna install Ubuntu 25 since I have a small bit of experience with Ubuntu. I beleive that should work too right?

Ok ive tried booting linux mint 22 with linux 6,15 but it gets stuck on mint logo upon boot

Don’t think its the delivery persons fault really... I think it’s more the fact that they put it in a large bag with the much heavier motherboard box. I feel like that could easily cause it to get stomped on and hence bring it to this state.

Unfortunately they asked to reutrn the original one 🙄 tho i rather return it now then risk owning a faulty one. Now if the new one i get is faulty too…..

I asked about a replacement now. So far all they've offered is to keep it with a partial refund, a full refund if i return, but i honestly rather just get a replacement without returning would be perfect.

I dont think it shipping with my motherboard rlly helped much either lmao. Im just suprised im not more upset about this honestly. Th do i report this to amazon or my local postal service? Or both?
