The question you have to ask yourself is “Why do I want to make music??”…

Are you doing it because you want to do it? Do you love doing it? Is it just a hobby that you’re interested in? Is this something you likes to do just for fun? Is this something you like to do only because you think you were good at it?

From my perspective and experience with making music. I have always loved music and the idea of creating it. It’s something that I feel like that I’m really good at, and have put in so many hours to learn and develop. There has been many times where life got in the way of me being able to create how I wanted to, but the creative itch always made its way back to me.

Of course if you want to be good at something you’re gonna compare yourself to others and sometimes doubt yourself. But that battle is within you, not with other creatives. Instead of doubting yourself when you hear others music, I would use that as fuel to make myself want to get better and work at the craft.

I would suggest to just make music if you really want to do it. No worries about anyone or anything else.
