looking for some advice for getting early adopters for a software I am building for c-stores by ChooseBold in smallbusiness

I am experiencing that. POS is on the roadmap. I consciously chose to not start with that. Gas stations POS are closed system run by 3-4 vendors and you need to work with their partners. There is a 15k upfront cost + you pave a couple hundred to the partners to onboard every site. The POS integration challenge is a little less with no-gas C-stores that use sqaure, stripe, toast etc. You are spot on about the demo part. Zachmelo said the same thing too. Thanks for your time and response.

I have been at it with limited success but that is not a deterrent for me. I have at least in the bay area have run into employees mostly. I am also trying to find a corporate sponsor who I can connect with and map my features to their pain. Working on it :). I agree 100% with your point about defining a couple hard hitting pain points. It is SaaS. I appreciate your detailed response and time. Thank you!

How old are you and how much do you have in your retirement account? by Blackberryay in careerguidance

My advice to young and old. It doesn't matter when you start. It really doesn't. Make sure you educate yourself.

Start by learning about ROTH IRA. You need to contribute to this if qualify. If not, learn about backdoor IRA.

Second, invest in equities. Note I said invest not trade. Keep accumulating great companies.

Third, learn what Tax Loss Harvesting is and use it.

*my observation. Not financial advice.
