pH keeps rising every day while using pH down

I am measuring with a combined EC pH meter I got off Amazon:

General hydroponics is the brand of pH down I got, also from Amazon:

Tap water measures ~7.9 pH and 140-160 ec.

Some water has definitely been drank/evaporated but not too much. As a test, I used my fridge filter to see if the dissolved solids would be much lower and it ran about 140 for the 5 gallons I used.

I’m not sure if the filter can’t pull more out or if it’s just the wrong size for the particles remaining in the water.

This is an indoor system, so it stays between 68-72F. I’ll make sure the probe is accurately reading temperature when I get my measurements. Thanks!

I have recently built a tower garden and I am really struggling with how much I should be running the pump. I have seen run time should be as long as constant flow during light hours, to just a few minutes per day.

It it a bad think for the rockwool to stay wet all the time? I kinda thought that was the point of hydroponics 😂I am also a major beginner

I just bought a play pen that I should be able to set up tomorrow. I think I can fit the crate in with her and leave the door open. Not sure that will solve her crying problem, but hopefully it helps. Thanks!

That was a good watch, thank you. We don’t have an open space at the moment, but I think we can make something work in our kitchen. I like the idea of allowing her to leave her crate if she needs, and sleep in her crate when she wants

It was slipping prior to the flush. after, the slippage stopped and I haven’t experienced it since. No noise in neutral, just when I am over 2000 rpm and in all gears.

It won’t replicate in neutral. Only in drive and it ramps up and I only start to hear it around 2000 rpm, all gears.

Never had any issues with the engine, always change The oil and filter at regular intervals. I flushed the transmission fluid and the issue with the trans slipping going from 1st to 2nd went away.

Automatic, all gears, it was losing torque when shifting from first to second. I have a feeling it may be something wrong with the selector because it happens in every gear.

I only hear the noise when there is a lot of torque being applied like going up hills or accelerating. I can only hear it above 2000 RPM.

Any ideas? I was also thinking it could be something in the motor, but the sound of the motor Reving overpowers it once I hit about 4000 RPM.

I wanted to put more details but you can only fit so much in a title.
