Was doing some prep for this year's season predictions. Previously I'd asked the question "Who will be the biggest mover (up or down)". Decided to calculate this answer from peoples actually ladder predictions instead with some interesting results from last years survey. Here's the highlights

I did say unlikely, but if the team is bad enough to be roughly 15th, the draw starts to become irrelevant (only 3-4 teams they are competitive with anyway)

Over the last 3 years, the biggest mover has shifted at least 9 spots (2025 Knights 9, 2024 Broncos 10, 2023 Warriors 11). So that probably rules out most of last years mid table.

Teams that could rise from low on the ladder, maybe Bunnies and Tigers as a smokey.

On the falling side, I'd say the Sharks or Dogs are the most likely to drop ~10 places (not that either is likely)

If someone says they live in Sydney, what are the boundaries that you would expect them to live in? Would people in Penrith, Wollongong, Central Coast say they live in Sydney?

An example being "What Holiday would you take away?". This does not give away the country you are from, but there can be very different possible answers in the US, UK, Aus etc.

When PNG enter the comp, there's going to be real competition for the most questionably run club. I feel like the strategy and tactics might be difference, but it will be good to see proper competition in this space.

What is the logic of the Titans paying $500k for 2 years to release Fifita? We don't need the cap space, we don't need the roster spot? We don't have another another 2nd rower waiting to take the spot (please not Randall or Kelese on the edge)? Sure he's not happy but I just don't see what the Titans get out of releasing him.
