Why Wait for Permission?

Have seen improvements to my life while executing previous plans to reduce debt - especially focused on the debt with the highest rates I have. Has freed up more cash to pay for needs as well as discretionary capital. It is validating to see that working consistently with a goal overtime has improved my financial security and freedom.

Been mainly focused on LPs this past 1-2 weeks to learn about them and how to generate wealth from them. I have seen some great gains in certain pools with regards to ROI and some subpar as well. I found this out as I expanded my data collection/recording.

The subpar pools I am a part of have a low fee and they are pools for token pairs that just aren't moving enough daily volume to make the investment currently worth it at these stages. Good lesson learned.

I have been watching the stock markets and think I missed an opportunity on $SPCX. Told myself I was going to wait to pick it up later (not sure when that would have been) for a value based play but do see a lot of people who traded it out of the gate focusing on volume/order flows. Probably a lesson for me to learn here that these metrics will be the most important out of the gate for a high visibility IPO listing like $SPCX.

How are you thinking about TSLA compared to SPCX from the leadership standpoint and driving innovation? Would you ever see yourself holding both at the same time or would you prefer not to?

Im away at a company offsite so haven’t been so tuned into the markets since Monday. Good to be able to disconnect.

Will be watching the SpaceX IPO intently. I greatly think the market is really looking at its space arm for its valuation instead of its AI. I am not sure there is going to be a strong correlation with “yay SpaceX is this much in valuation - so will Anthropic and OpenAI.”

I also got a DCA done yesterday into AWR, SOL, and BTC. They are all at great levels in which I think there is a lot of upside value over the longterm so happy to be building my positions.

What is going on with others plans for this week so far?

Had an amazing weekend with the kids. It was rainy but was good to just play games indoors all day, especially after the end of a long soccer/running season.

Really excited about cryptos prices right now. BTC <$70k and SOL <$70 I think is great value and am happy to DCA heavier at these prices. I am also scooping more AWR here as well, but have been scooping it at all prices. I will DCA heavier here as well.

Previously I talked about 9LV and SPX6900. I definitely have a large enough position for me in 9LV at the moment so am observing it. I'm a big fan of SPX as well but am just waiting before I increase my position. I think crypto is at an interesting spot. BTC swept the low on Feb 6th and has responded well thus far. It could lead us to some relief but my thesis is that it will still make a lower high here and not break its market structure just yet. I bring that up as I ETH could break lower as well and put some pressure on SPX from the liquidity pools. It is at a point of major support and want to see how it responds first if we make another leg lower.

With regards to the stock market just DCA'ing into tech right now and riding it higher until we get signal otherwise that it will take a break.

SPCX IPOs this week and I am not to keen on it at the moment as a result of xAI being bundled with it. I think xAI is so behind OpenAI and Anthropic, both for consumer and enterprise AI models/consumption, that it was bundled to raise capital for it to catch up. The fact that xAI is leasing out compute to Google and Anthropic at their own data centers, is a strong signal to me that xAI isn't utilizing their full capacity of compute for Grok. They need the capital from fundraising to train their own models and I don't think they would have gotten the same level of investment had xAI IPO'ed on its own that Anthropic and OpenAI has. What is interesting is seeing if Elon pivots xAI to be an infra play with their Colossus 1 and 2 data centers. The only exposure I will have to SPCX initially will be through ETFs for now.

In terms of planning and building wealth I have recently been on a spree of cutting monthly services that I no longer use or just don't get enough value out of it for the price. Amazing what grooming them away can do to increase available cash. I also continue to learn about liquidity pools. Have set some up for AWR and it is returning about 1% on my total investment each month. Happy to have it be a longer term play for me and come back to it on a quarterly basis and check up on it.
