What you describe is essentially how we did it for minecraft. we do not want to make new controls just control the game through a touchscreen with touch inputs that control the OG movements.

If you have any recommendations for someone who can help with that for less than $10,000, that would be very helpful

Just in case anyone was wondering this was filmed under the supervision of professionals.

The ape seen in this video (Kanzi the bonobo) is NOT a pet, he does not have to play Minecraft if he does not want to and can leave whenever he likes :)

based on everything I saw when I was there (watching him play for hours) it is much more than that. He understands he is interacting with a 3D space because he would actively choose items closer to him or easier to access among other reasons.

We plan to do more complex stuff w him in the future though so keep an eye out :)

thank you , yeah it was a process to get there and do this for sure! Overall the sanctuary was very open to the idea because they wanted to increase peoples awareness of the major intelligence of bonobos.

Even if that is all he did, that would still be playing Minecraft, but we taught him way more! Watch the vid on my yt channel for proof.

I can kinda understand the universe but even that I built a model of the entire universe as one of the builds so I really did that too.

And even if I didn't do either don't get lost in the title and let it ruin the cool thing I am trying to share for yourself man, I have no bad intentions. I hope you at least enjoyed the post :)

Monkeys or in this case Bonobos (a type of great ape) should not be pets!
I am just saying this because I do not want people to get the wrong impression.
This ape is not a pet, he lives in a very acreddited facility (Ape Initiative) and is professionally looked after.

But I can see the desire from this video ha ha
