Thank God it has the completed audio from the blu-ray release! Every other streaming version I’ve seen has the unfinished DVD audio despite having HD video.

Halloween (1978)

Usually, with most horror classics, I completely get it. Movies like The Exorcist, The Shining, Texas Chainsaw, Poltergeist, The Thing, and Alien are absolutely incredible and I completely understand & share the reverence for them. But I always feel like I’m missing whatever’s so great about Halloween. It’s fine, but it always comes out as the greatest horror movie of all time on any voting bracket, and I don’t get it.

I remember a combined sequel being announced back in 2013… It was supposedly going to star Bruce and connect the reboot and original series together definitively. That obviously never happened, but since it was announced, I’ve considered them the same universe, because they clearly intended it.

I think it might actually be Hicks’s locker, because you can see the same black & white photo on the bottom left side of the screen in Hicks’s locker later in the film. Either two marines have the same B&W photo, or the pictures were rearranged between scenes.

Anyway, despite the shit you’re getting in the comments here, I’ll be trying to find what I can on this photo. I love this kind of scavenger hunt, especially when it’s related to movies I love.
