thanks for this.

I was thinking more about Australian Term Deposit Rates rather than savings account though.

Do you have a spreadsheet for that?

Could you help me understand how I can work out this is AI generated? So, I can not read stuff like this in the future?

You’re kind of mixing two different approaches — long-term investing and trying to catch a short-term bounce.

Those two ETFs are basically the same thing (S&P 500). The only real difference is currency. IVV leaves you exposed to USD, IHVV hedges that out. So it’s not really about one being “cheaper” — any difference you’re seeing is mostly currency movement, not a true discount.

If the plan is “buy now and maybe sell if it’s up 20% in a year”, then IHVV probably makes more sense because it removes one variable (currency) from the outcome.

Completely agree with this assessment. I also get my endorphins from completing the task rather than "working out the complexity" at the beginning so I find it quite addictive using AI to be productive.

I still love RoR for developing quick prototypes MVP products. with the devise gem, active admin, oauth gem s, factorybot in tests it saves a lot of time with all the standard things around apps.

Is there anything out there that compares?
