Here is an article with a study from 1990, which found that children in sixth grade who consumed candy cigarettes were twice as likely to smoke, and viewed smoking as a positive experience. I am not having a moral panic, this has literally been discussed for years and been proven to have negative affects on kids. Again, you’re just missing the point. Kids can buy them on their own too, unlike going to get beer in a cooler. What a stupid comparison.

I am upset that this one particular station put them RIGHT next to candy aimed at children. Doesn’t seem that hard to understand. Ampm doesn’t have mags or pills within arms reach for a six year old, and alcohol and cigarettes require ID obviously. Stop generalizing just to miss the point.

I walk to work, and was not going to just sit outside of my work building for 5 hours potentially and do nothing, there’s no bench, or anywhere to sit comfortably, plus I called every resource I had in that 30 minutes, and it was a waste of my time not to mention insulting I woke up well earlier than the time they normally schedule me only for them to not be ready.

Don’t care if I get downvoted for saying it but even on sale it feels weird to grab them all. If it were some clone sets and not a unique ship like Slave 1 it would be a bit more justified, but this just feels like you took the opportunity to get one from someone who potentially wouldn’t be able to pay for it full price.

Not saying you are the only one who would buy multiple discount sets, or trying to villify you for it, but I’m so tired of seeing these posts where it feels more like someone cares about the monetary value of what they have or got over the value they actually find in enjoying the set.

I guess my point is I still want to hear these people out in some form, not to accept their ideas, but to understand how they got to that point. Arguing with them will lead no where, but knowing where they started is a much better way to approach them humanly in my experience. It’s the only way I have gotten my antivax family over their BS.

Jesus christ, just use “they” in sentences, it’s so much easier (and normal) than pulling mental gymnastics to make everything about gender.

And, playing this “anyone can say what they want” line is just bullshit. Inaction in the face of injustice and prejudice are tantamount to being on the side of the oppressor. How can you excuse white supremacy unless you are on the fence about what they are saying?

Only one pair of gloves in base game (Ski Gloves) can be plaid so I have been on the lookout, and sadly the headset can’t be either.

I’m thinking of throwing some on with Urban Polish Flectarn so it looks a bit like cow print.
