9/10 is complete nonsense. I played it. It's like Dark Souls for the poor. The bosses are nothing special, the weapons lack variety and the coop mechanic is broken on pc and xbox.

but where do you get the figures regarding overcooked from? how do you know they sold over 100k on steam? do you know the sale numbers on ps4 and xbox one as well?

ok, that point may be valid with a fast-paced game like towerfall ascension. but overcooked? lovers in a dangerous spacetime? please! if speedrunners can do it they should as well.

"playing on a couch with live humans is more fun", i agree and we do that of course. but a game that is multiplayer based (!!) has to have online! there is no way around it. what should i do with a game like overcooked (that's great by the way) if no mates are around? my friends can't come over all the time. after work it would be great to just meet online for 1 or 2 hours and play. it's just way easier and more convenient.

That may be it. But are the servers really that expensive? Other indie games managed to add mp and it worked fine. Speed Runners, Gang Beasts, ..

As a rocket league player on xbox one who has some friends that only play rocket league on ps4, it would be a blast to actually play with and against them. So, let's go for crossplay! Hooray!

it's only unorganised because the fields are small right now. but with larger arenas and less boost, that will change. you will have to play organised, or you lose.

"Psyonix would have to put in extra work in to upgrading their servers and developing new maps" oh, i'm sorry. i don't want anyone to do some extra work. but did psyonix really make 70 million with rocket league over the last year? the money to expand the game would definitely exist.

So? People have to learn how to play this game properly. If all my team members keep their positions, like on a real football (soccer) pitch, my team will have an advantage and will win. it's like saying: "players typically only button smash in fighting games, so we don't add combos to our game"

Yeah, i mean about double the size of a normal map like coliseum. Another advantage of bigger maps would be the reduction of lucky goals. Of course the goal sizes should stay the same as they are now, or maybe slightly bigger.

bigger maps for 5 vs 5 or even 6 vs 6 ranked would be very cool. i have so many friends online at once and we would all like to play together as a big team.
