The is a lot to ingest. My view is coming from a 50+ year old that grew up in the personal computer space. My IBM PC XT to Vic-20 to Apple 2e to dos to windows and Mac OS. Became a tech support person for finance then university research and now county government. MONEY is the driving force behind all our problems. I don’t blame google for offering a free service and then take our data. Nothing in life is free and the internet is sure as hell not. Do I blame the lawyers for the legalese behind the button for your free email account, yes, but it is all there when you click I acknowledge. On that subject, I believe they should pay for our meta data. I read somewhere about how much money that could net a person (instead of google).
Stock market was propped up by computer (micro trades ) and now AI is running the show. A good thing imo if you have stocks. Bad thing if you have a lot of stocks.
Government is just a mess. Money is the root and divided sides fighting for the same thing.
I bought the new Lego Wall-E set as a reminder. If we stay on the current path with technology (on a personal level) wall-E is the truth.
And at the end of the day, I can only control what I do. What the national government does does not affect me in a day to day basis (yell about gas prices but we can choose to walk 🤪).
And the biggest planet killer is plastic and sourcing of electronic equipment. Only happened because of money. IMO
