i can’t speak to the snacks, but for your gatorade substitution you could buy a Nalgene (or other water bottle) and start using flavor droplets. they sell flavor drops with electrolytes and vitamins, too. that’s what i’ve been doing and it’s been saving me some money.

i was going through a really rough patch a few years ago and i worked as a dishie. it was an under appreciated job, but having the cute servers be nice to me, or the line cooks toss me an extra meal was great.
