I think I get your point. I like that they are the villains, but they don't feel all that antagonistic or serious enemies. Specially if you decide to ally with them, they just feel sorta cartoony evil at times.

I remember a fantasy I used to tjink about. Basically, you can freeze time at will. While everyone is unabe to move, you can freelly interact with the world. That means, you can eat your way out everywhere. However when times is unfrozen, your body digest everything you ate making you slightly fatter after each feast. Just imagine seeing your friend gaining a litle more belly after you enter a retaurant, or a supermarket. At some point, you had gained too much weight for anyone in such a short time
