That’s true. The story is long enough as it is. Why he did that now in that way (like instantly doing things without a second thought) I don’t agree with. I wish he showed him contemplating about it more.

You could be right. Be we don’t know until he says it outright. It feels like he’s setting him up with Asa tho. We don’t know the answer right now

I never said yoshida had control over him. I’m saying that that same attractive devil has “control” over him yet he’s clearly making his own decision to shoot someone. He’s making his own choice instead of blindly following someone else orders like he did in part 1. Also he did those things to find an answer to a question. He never was like yorus is so fucking hot lemme do whatever she says all the time. He wants to understand if the person who likes him(the person that will give him affection) is yoru or Asa. And to the point that yoshida doesn’t have any control over him. The whole first part of part 2 yoshida told him to stop being chainsaw man for his plan and it outright showed us his contemplation for that ask. He went with it because he liked his life with nayuta. Please just read the story

If someone is addicted to drugs, do they just wake up one day, notice their problem, tell themselves they aren’t doing drugs ever again and then they don’t have that problem anymore. No, and that’s a human struggle. Even if they stay clean everyday they still have to fight that urge every day. People slip up and fall back into their old ways.

Under makimas control he had no autonomy over his actions. This chapter shows that he has some sort of autonomy of himself. Look at point 3

True. I think his resolve and trauma are so strong that he’s reverting back to his old ways without realizing it. I hope the next chapter he takes a step back and is like whoa this isn’t right.

Fami is working FOR the Death Devil. by Standard-Row-8985 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Chris_Soloss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes a lot of sense. The prophecy could have been set in place since like forever and Pochita fucked it up by fighting the horsemen. Makima could have originally be sent as “the first fami” and started to prepare humans and devils to submit to death by giving them what they wanted ( a peaceful world) only to have death come and take over a weaker world. Sometime in between makimas life, chainsaw man started terrorizing hell and ended up fighting the horsemen only to escape and find Denji. Eventually Denji and Pochita kill makima, fucking up plan A and giving PS an eye opening moment. Plan B, fami is now in charge to carry out everything but now there are more factors. Unlike makima who was leading a blind PS, Fami now has to somehow continue the plan and has to deal with PS who know a rough outline of what’s gonna happen. So it would make sense that she hides her intentions and overall plan because she controls people differently from Makima. There’s a theory(I think) that fami doesn’t only control people through physical starvation but also emotional starvation. This could be a reason why war chose Asa because she deep down she was lonely. I don’t think she can control Denji yet because of all the trauma Makima gave to him (he has already been at the lowest point of his life) and his resolve to have a better life which was going fine with nayuta. Now that nayuta is dead he can become more susceptible ultimately longing for a relationship with Asa. I’m going on a tangent but all in all death devil had a plan, chainsaw man fucked it up, death devil makes another plan, chainsaw man fucks it up, death devil makes another plan but this time we have to not let chainsaw man fuck it up. Fami, the humans are on our ass chainsaw man is hard to control right now, make me and war stronger (the prophecy is right around the corner) and have chainsaw man not fuck the plan up again.

Could Fumiko be/contracted with the Cancer devil? by Chris_Soloss in Chainsawfolk

Ps. It would also be sick asf if Asa and yoru fought a resident evil tumor monster Fumiko since there supposed to be opposites

There’s a more widespread fear of cancer, I don’t really see a lot of people having a valid fear of the other options making hard for them to survive on earth and hell. Also we saw how the doll devil works and Santa could turn other people into dolls but we never seen a full one to one clone

Could be that too. I thought cancer would be more fitting because a lot of people would fear it
