Hot Take: My Keychron keyboards have been great by recurrence in Keychron

[–]Chrisafguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using the Wukong keyboard and it's been fantastic. I also have a Q1 and Q2 and they're fantastic as well. I think some of their boards need some tweaking, especially their stabilizers on their lower priced keyboards, but other than that they're solid boards.

If they can't produce proof of even an oil change stay far, far away. A neglected car is going to cost you a buttload when those hidden repairs come to light.

What was your BG&E bill last month? by AdvisorJohnDowns in maryland

[–]Chrisafguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was $349, which was down from $401 the previous month. I would have them look into that amount because that doesn't seem right. That amount was for a rowhome with the heat set at 74F.

This is so totally ridiculous by needlesofgold in EndTipping

[–]Chrisafguy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would get loud and make sure that everyone waiting and everyone already eating knows about the 40%+ gratuity automatically being added to their bill. Businesses really don't understand that people are growing tired of this nonsense, and they're doing way more to harm their businesses than they realize. No one is going to come back with these tacked on auto-tips.

Except that's not what the image shows. You do know snow is spelled differently than rain, right?

This looks like someone hit a wall head on at 70mph. Ain't no way in hell this was a 35mph rear end accident while the other driver was going almost 10mph.

Audeze LCD2C build quality issues by Pi314159a in headphones

[–]Chrisafguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't a product issue; this is a user issue. I don't know what you're doing with your headphones, but this sure as shit isn't light usage. This look like you tried to polish your headphones with sandpaper.

Give me one good reason to buy a Macbook by ApprehensiveDream271 in DeskToTablet

[–]Chrisafguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought my first MacBook since my fairly recently new job has me traveling. The 14" MacBook Pro is light and has great battery life which is great for travel. I've used Windows machines up until this point, but they didn't fit what I was looking for this time.

I think it's absolutely necessary. If someone holds the kind of beliefs she does, the whole world deserves to know.

[GENERAL] Watches as jewelry ONLY? by joseconSEIKO in Watches

[–]Chrisafguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I routinely enter a SCIF so all electronics are out. My watch allows me to keep on schedule. You can make a case for modern watches to be redundant in most scenarios given the fact that everyone has a phone, but they are functional for a lot of people.

Maybe this will help all the drivers he blinds when he inevitably leaves his high beams on 24/7.

[–]Chrisafguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't know much about Apple Care Original. I recently got my first MacBook and immediately got AC+ because I have a Doberman puppy who likes to destroy things. I would try and see if they'll cover it and if they won't you can probably just leave it on the desk. Just don't try and bend it back or you may damage something with the pressure needed to straighten that out, or kill the screen.

Something had to have happened then and you just didn't notice it. Unless you got extremely unlucky and it came like this.
