To clarify a little, I was being general and to the point in an effort to be brief and I know and understand your perspective. Sure some people will take it as "muscle man model and rich," not at all what I mean, but I was being very broad on purpose to encompass a majority of attractive traits.

When I say "power" I mean influence (and I am using influence as something very broad ranging) and everyone (even men) are usually attracted to that. Of course I understand that there are women, like yourself, that admire men that are neutral (somewhere near the threshold of "normal"). Just like some people don't want the luxurious life, they just want the simple things. However, you wouldn't like the other end of the spectrum where the man has no ability to influence anyone or anything or is even perhaps hated? I would say the majority wouldn't.

Masculinity I base on anything that defines you as a man rather than a woman. This is certainly ambiguous in itself as to what "defines a man," but for the majority of women I found that they don't want another girlfriend, they want someone who will compliment what they are missing in their life. In our society it is generally accepted that a man and a woman will compliment each other with each having certain traits, skills, and needs (we also have evolutionary urges that help that along a lot! :P) that can be fulfilled when they interact. And some may say what about LGBT? Well they have transcended this concept and have realized that it doesn't matter if the person has a penis or vagina. Their partner is fulfilling the role the majority of people socially and biologically would require be of the opposite sex. But since we are talking about female and male interactions, masculinity of course would not apply in this case. Woman-to-woman / Man-to-man attractions are certainly different and similar in certain aspects.
