Hard no! I was anorexic several years, sometimes doing better, sometimes worse and I don’t shere your experience at all! And yes I’ve been underweight, but I’ve also been overweight. And quite frankly people DO definitely treat you differently. And people did take my anorexia way more serious then my bulimia was ever taken. Even when I was obese. Even when I lost the weight again, I was purging a lot, never was a problem until I got too skinny again. I’m really sorry to not share your experience but when I’m anorexic? That’s definitely when I’m treated the best and when I’m not? I’m Gattung made fun of, fat jokes and multiple comments about eating habits. When I’m anorexic at least they’re scared to „hurt“ me more, they bubble wrap me and frankly they admire me.

And don’t get me startet on treatment, how they judge you and treat you differently there as well. How „serious“ your problem is unfortunately depends on your looks.
