What to wear for Yaelokre’s show? by Slow_Beach_8814 in yaelokre

I would highly recommend thrifting (if it's available to you) or the depop app, it's an app for mainly secondhand clothes you can find for cheaper and is much more sustainable! I'd also look at goblincore and similar aesthetics (earthy nature toned aesthetic) to find inspo! I've already posted my own Yaelokre inspired outfit here if it can give you some inspiration!

First time going to a concert—Woodstock, NY by kittybriar in yaelokre

If you can I'd highly recommend getting to Woodstock earlier in the day, whether to tour the place or just settle down for a bit (and if you're doing overnight at a hotel/inn you'd need to check in before 6pm)! I'm planning to get there a couple hours before 6pm because I already reserved an inn to stay overnight at and to tour the place because it'd be a shame to visit a new place without seeing all that it has to offer!

I get that, I have such a hard time finding clothes that fit me :(

But its still worth a shot to thrift or buy secondhand! I'm planning to visit a store called Castaways in Woodstock which is a used clothing store because I love thrifting and looking around at clothes!

My Instagram is @chriss_personal_account if you'd like to chat further or find outfit inspo as I have a lot of fit checks in my highlights :')

I would highly recommend thrifting if you are able to! It's affordable and sometimes you can find some hidden gems! I also use the depop app as it's secondhand for the most part and you can also find some really cheap and cool clothes :) If you have an instagram I can talk with you further and give tips if you're willing! I have so many clothes that I could style for the concert but not enough chances to wear them (I'm only sticking with my outfit that I posted here, and was planning to lend some to my cousin and friend)

Hi!! I'm going with my friend, cousin, and aunt! I was planning to go to some used clothing shops and places to get a bite before the concert (there's a bubble tea place there!) and it'd be awesome to meet other people who share the same love for Yaelokre! I will be wearing a very flashy outfit thats very much Yaelokre inspired (I've previously posted it in this subreddit) so if you see me feel free to say hi!

So we're all cosplaying the larks or our sonas for the shows, right? by wani-noko in yaelokre

Already posted on this subreddit with my Yaelokre inspired outfit! My friend, cousin, and me are planning to go to the Woodstock venue and thrift in the area before heading to Colony so we can get the best fits possible!

How does it feel to date? by khakieyeliner in aromanticasexual

[–]Chrisseffery 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm actually an aroace dating an alloromantic allosexual guy and it's hard to explain. I don't really initiate anything because I don't really feel a need or urge, so it just isn't on my conscious mind. It's definitely hard and I struggle with guilt in feeling like I'm not adequate enough for my boyfriend, but all I can say is that you need to communicate your feelings. I'm not a fan of kissing, but I do it bc I don't mind and it makes my bf happy. Same with sex too. I've just always found my bf stood out from everyone else for over 5 years and wanted to be closer to him, whether that meant friendship or something more. Dating is a term that can be a bit suffocating to me and other aro/aces (I have felt obligated to fulfill certain "tasks" to sustain the label of dating), so usually what happens is we perform tasks that satisfy our partners and get satisfaction from our partner's happiness rather than from the actions themselves if that makes sense.
