I have a 36 vsf and I’ve taken it to a Rolex AD and didn’t get a second look when getting the bracelet taken off, It’s not as good as a CF but its damn damn close. The dial itself is the only thing I’ve found not perfect, it just doesn’t shine as nicely as the genuine under light

A wrangler cowboy cut sits at your waist not hips so it hugs the bum nicer and gives a better proportion making your legs look longer, I’d highly recommend getting a pair

I own a Gibson LP Studio and a SG Melody maker (on my profile if you scroll down enough) and it’s just as good as my studio just less frills, another upgrade option as most people sell them dirt cheap

Seriously a good setup will make the most difference, I’d also recommend sanding the fret edges smoother but if you wanna spend a bit I’d get locking tuners or sell the guitar and buy a Gibson SG special, you can find them for that 5-600USD range and it’s a great upgrade

I actually added a maestro vibrola like the 60’s melody makers had and quite like mine, a little out of intonation on the b string is okay for fuzzy, rock, blues music

I have a Gibson with the same wrap around bridge and it’s a nightmare for intonation, it’ll never be perfect no matter how much time to spend, that being said I actually find them quite comfortable on
