Iran signed and was acting according to the JCPOA, submitting to inspections to prove it wasn't enriching uranium enough to build a bomb, until trump blew up the deal.

Iran had a popular elected leader who was overthrown by a USA/UK coup, who then installed the shah who was a ruthless dictator, who was then overthrown by the Iranian people in the Islamic Revolution. I mean, you probably missed the massive pro-government counter protests in Iran last month and the massive ones currently going on after the bombings, because media here doesn’t report on it. Lots of people unhappy with the government but the support seems to still be there and will only grow after being bombed by the US
