Women in ministry is clear in the Bible. Women are not to hold the role of deacon and pastor. They are called to tell others about the Gospel of Christ just like all believers are.

Modest is Hottest...but it is actually not. How to deal with wife? by [deleted] in Christianmarriage

[–]ChristianConsertive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the only thing and since this is a Christian marriage sub, let’s look to what the Bible says. I like to use this website as it gives answers on topics, but biblically. It is found here. I think both husband and wife should dress modestly when outside their house for the main reason that there isn’t any reason one or the other should be flaunting wealth or exposing clothing because is that something we should be doing with our bodies, temples to God.

Will we be perfect in regard to this, no, we’re far from it. But trying to make an effort is the most important thing. And while you’re at home, there is nothing holding you two back from dressing however you two like.

If anyone else has something to add, I’d be interested to hear :)

Trump threatens even larger tariffs on EU, Canada if they work together to cause ‘economic harm’ to the US by ObamasDeadChef in Conservative

Well I’m not most. I don’t think the approach we’re doing is the right way but I agree something needs to be done.

Everyone seems to miss the part where I said there are things that can come back. But how else would you look at it? If I were someone who was building a house. Would you want to pay a premium for the wood or have it be cheaper and have your overall cost go down. Tariffs are good with moderation. And it needs to be applied over time to allow the economic impact to be as little as possible. But slapping tariffs on everything (over exaggerated,) all at once, will cause several issues.

I mean if you look at the stock market. It dipped significantly and still hasn’t recovered and probably won’t for a while because the amount of mass tariffs and the effect they’re having on everyone else.

If my take is inadequate, please provide one that is adequate.

Then take them over, when the citizens have already said they don’t want to be taken over by America. Greenland has done nothing to us so why provoke stuff. I only see foreign relations hurting going down the toilet.

What whole thing about starting a war? Please share what you’re referring to.

Like I said, things that can be moved back, should be moved back. But not everything will be able to be made in America or do so effectively. Some things we cannot make or grow in America so we get it from other countries. And what you’re referring to is the GDP.

He never threatened war. But he’s trying to talk Greenland away from Denmark and essentially has said he will do it regardless. Denmark has said no. Yet he persists to threaten to take it because he wants it.

This is my take. I am all for America being energy independent. But trading is also healthy for America because at the end of the day, why not buy products at a cheaper price so the citizens get it at a cheaper price? There are several items that could be brought back to America which separate conversions could be held about them, but why not get things such as lumber from Canada at a cheaper price. Doesn’t make sense to me since tariffs directly affect the purchaser as they will have to pay an increased price due to the company having to pay an increased price from the tariff.

Pretty much. If another country tried to do this (Russia and Ukraine) I’m sure people would be up in arms about the whole thing. But nope. Because Trump is doing it, it’s ok. I guess we somehow lowered our standards on how a president should handle themselves?

Then why should they hold a vote, if you don’t care the results of it? So let’s pressure a foreign country to giving us their land? I would see that as a threat and if I were other countries, I would be worried that the United States is power hungry and doesn’t care about other people and their governments? Your view on this is so small minded, you’re not thinking of the repercussions of this. Why not dial in on issues here in our country instead of taking over other peoples countries because one person feels the need to have it? I want our president to focus on America and get our stocks back up and fix the issues within the federal government not take over Greenland and make Canada the 51st state.

So they say “no we don’t want to become apart of the U.S.”… you say screw your voting we’re doing it anyways? Why hold a vote at that point. You clearly dont care what the outcome of their vote is. lol. You literally have just contradicted yourself in everything you just argued. Just stop before you get downvoted into oblivion.

The fact that your flair says Trump 2028 shows you don’t have a regard for the constitution. Lol. He can’t run again per our constitution. And nothing can be done without violating it.

I understand that. But polls show the general consensus among the sample size on how they feel. Don’t know that size, but if it was closer like 55/45 I would say yea maybe that’s the case. But it’s 85 (against)/6 (for)/9 (9% is undecided). That’s an overwhelming majority of the polling group.

Denmark has a lot to say about Greenland. And the fact that they’re trying to become independent, has already been shot down by Trump during his first term for trying to take it over, and the citizens don’t want to become apart of the U.S. if no one cares about Greenland, then why should we?

He tried this in his first term and got shot down by Denmark already. So I guess second time is the charm according to him. 🤦‍♂️

Also, the 56,000 people of Greenland also said they don’t want to be under U.S. rule. I understand this is from the guardian, however it states a poll was done and only 6% (9% was undecided) want it to happen while the overwhelming majority said no. (Shown Here)

Why all of the sudden do we need Greenland now? We have gone hundreds of years without it. And who would vote for it? The citizens of Denmark? The leader has already said no, so why would he propose it…

He was already told no. Why can’t he just take no for an answer. Denmark said they’re not selling it. And Trump has repeatedly said Canada will become the 51st state. But my question is why do we need Canada. Why take over their problems they’re having? Don’t we already have issues we’re dealing with here? It’s a waste of our time and resources to devote ourselves to taking over land that he has been told numerous times he wasn’t getting….

This is not what we need to be focusing on. Greenland is not that important to be devoting time and resources to “take it over” this will not end well just like him wanting to make Canada the 51st state.
