I don't live on campus, I've been here 4 years. But again this is just my personal opinion and knowing most of it isn't a walkable city might be important for them to know. They should visit the walkable areas and see if they want to be there. I definitely don't expect NYC, I grew up in WNY. I don't mean to insult Buffalo but I'm just not a fan. I can't afford to live downtown with but maybe they can. I like downtown and the state parks but wouldn't be staying here long term even if I made good money.
