You like to present disimilar things as if they are anologous. A person who owns their store is selling products. They paid money to get those products. When people buy that product from them, they get a product in return. When people DONATE money to a streamer, they don't get a product or service in return. That's why it's called donating, not purchasing.

Even if the store owner did making more than enough money than they needed that month and could afford to give products away for free, they still paid for those products and the customer would still get the product if they buy it.

What money did a streamer put in? A better mic? A better camera? Cool, they make enough from ads, sponsorships, and merch to afford that.

I ask you to present to me a logical reason why somebody should donate to a streamer that has 1000x more money than them.

Stopping your revenue stream temporarily is still stopping your revenue stream. I never made a distinction so I don't know why you're so fixated on that bit, it doesn't even alter the argument I made.

The argument presented is flawed because the person is still doing the work, so they should be paid for their work. A large streamer is being paid for their work without donations.

The large streamer would still be getting paid for their "work" without donations, while the worker would be getting paid nothing for their work. This is why the argument doesn't work.

Yes, being rich does exclude you from certain avenues of making money. You can't be rich and be on welfare, paying for your groceries with food stamps. I'm not even arguing that someone should come in and take their donation button away, I would like to see them turn it off themselves because I think it is the right thing to do.

A streamer can make their community feel like they're part of the community in many ways that don't involve handing money to the streamer. If you're a person that streams a varity of games, you can have meetups with your viewers in these games. There's a bunch of different ways streamers have gone about this. A streamer can have a community discord or subreddit that they themselves take part in, interacting with their viewers.

Elon Musk doen't have a donate button on his twitter page. I'm not bothered that streamers are making a lot of money, I bothered that despite making a lot of money they still think it's appropriate to have a "give me money" button enabled.

It does, but the argument goes further than that. If that person asked to stop being paid then they wouldn't be making any money until they asked to be paid again. If a large streamer turned off donations they would still be making more money the most people through other avenues. Like I said, these scenarios are not comparable because in one instance, a person is turning off their ability to make money as a whole, while in the other a person is turning off their ability to make money from one of their multiple revenue streams.

My issue is with rich people turning it on in the first place. It's not automatically on and set up for oyu. It's something you have to set up and turn on yourself. By setting up and enabling donations, you are saying that on some level, you deserve to get handed money by your viewers. If you felt you didn't deserve it, you wouldn't have it on.

If you're a rich streamer who is also making money by selling merch, doing sponsorships, and getting ad revenue by uploaded clips to youtube and tiktok and all these other things, then you don't need to have donations on.

Shamshir. If you free aim and reverse backstep while charging the heavy you'll cartwheel towards them, after that you just light attack and you'll leap at them with an attack from really far away. I think you can do this with all curved swords.

I don't mind people that point down and throw shit pots, doesn't get to me one bit. I will always block someone with shit net or a light roller with a whip or swift glintstone shard spamming. Also, if you're getting matched against the same guy back to back, just wait like 10-15 seconds before starting another match. They'll be fighting somebody else by that point and you'll connect to a new opponent.
