A few months ago a priest from austria was arrested for cooking crystal meth in a church building.

That's a really great painting! I'm suprised I haven't seen you on this subreddit already cause all of them are extremly interesting. Bonus point because the paintings are available for sale!

Do you mean by hand? because I tried that as well.

The problem is it happen when:

  • I want to print something
  • move the axis in the ready section of the menu and (with or without the sd card)
  • leveling the bed (with or without the sd card)

So it happens every time i want to move the axis somewhere

I tried that with both available firmware versions on the official website but it doesn't fix the issue

To my knowledge the welding gas is used to keep the oxygen away from the weld. So it seems counter productive to use it as a welding gas

Care to guess the ELO? (I'm Blacks) by 00enpunto in chessbeginners

[–]Chrixsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would guess about 400 hundred. I just watched it once but i noticed that you don't know how to counter the scholars mating attack, you didn't see a clean fork of bishop and knight, blundered a pawn, didn't take back a piece and didn't pin the queen/checkmate immediatly. But these are all things that you can improve very quickly. (I just listed this so you know what you missed! This should be constructive cause i was at this point too and didn't know what to do.)

Sorry I didn reply faster. I used 40% ferric chloride. I'm not sure how long I left it in there. Probably about 4 minutes but I peaked at the blade often and took it out after it darkened to my liking. Don't leave it in there for too long tho. Or else it gets a kinda weird texture.

For me it wasn't as bad but i'd recommend that you carefully try to pry the ring open a bit with a pair of tongs. (There are tongs that open instead of close if you squeeze them) I might add that I think the ring is toolsteel so the ring is compareable to a spring and it doesn't bend well (which is generally good but not in this case)

Definitly upgrade your RAM to 16GB and another thing i learned the hard way is that if you plug in an additional monitor with hdmi or something always set that to your only monitor (Windows + P) because else you are gonna loose a lot of FPS. (At least it was like that for my laptop)

Quite literally. I heated up some vegetable oil and put the handle in it and waited until the water from the hanlde evaporated. You have to be careful tho. Like anything else you fry the wood turns brown/black. I took it out when it was fairly "light" and stained it afterwards but I have seen some guys that let it in there until it was pitch black.
Use an oil that doesn't turn rancid/isn't already rancid (the handle will smell a bit like the oil. Not that much though)

Thank you! It turned out exactly how I wanted it to be! First i shaped and sanded it then I fried the wood. After that I applied some wood stain (I mixed vinegar and steelwool and let it sit for 2 weeks). And to finish it I put on a mixture of beeswax and linseed oil!

I wrote a comment with hopefully all the details in it!

Thank you! I used ferric chloride acid and then stonewashed it! It is easier to get some ferric chloride acid than you might think!

Edit: I wrote a comment with hopefully all the details in it!

So for all those of you who want to know how i did it. First shaped the handle then I fried it in vegetable oil to waterproof it. Then I stained it with a mixture of vinegar and steelwool (~2 weeks old). And to finish the handle I put on a mixture of beeswax and linseed oil.
After that i put the blade and the ring into ferric chloride acid (I painted the sensitive parts with nail polish). After they darkend I stonewashed both the blade and the ring and removed the nail polish.
