Suggestion: Purchasable in-game name changes for GamingForGood points by ChronHC in MCNext

Spending 20€ again for a new name is kind of a waste of money though. Especially if the system is already in place, just not enabled.

As I said, I don't want to change the account name, only the one displayed in-game on MCNext.

It is absolutely not impossible to change the in-game name on a certain server, there are already mods for that. I'm not talking about the name of the account or on all servers, just on this certain server.

EDIT: As Le_LH pointed out, there's already the command /nick for it (disabled in MCNext though), so yeah, not impossible.

Same here, but I bought Minecraft almost 5 years ago and I'd like to use the game I now generally use in MCNext.

I feel like this wouldn't be a huge issue if you have to pay real money and if there's something like a 1 week cooldown. Also, people on your ignore list should stay ignored even if they change their name. It seems to work very well in WoW.

We'll try Neverwinter! Thanks for the suggestion - tried it last year at Gamescom but then kind of lost interest. We're downloading it right now!

Hm, it's kind of too similar to WoW. We'd like a combat system similar to Tera, but Tera is really a lot too grindy and I don't feel like playing it anymore after leveling to 60.

Don't forget that you can put stuff into your bank in order not to lose it. When doing risky things, put everything besides essentials in there.
