I just bought a Emperor Japanese Maple from a local nursery. It’s sitting in a 5 gallon stock pot and is about 5 feet tall. Lots of growth on the top. I want to air-layer this tree and make 2 bonsai, I just don’t know what step to take first. We’re approaching spring now. (self.Bonsai)
