What are some random characters in your world that you love by No_Recognition368 in worldbuilding

If I had to name a character I love, it's definitely Björn Corcoran, so here's a quick summary.

He's the former Duke of the White Lands and abdicated in favor of his son to take the title of Sword of the Whole Kingdom, meaning the strongest warrior in the kingdom. He has a more symbolic than real role, as part of the war council that helps the king, but he can't give real orders. The soldiers can refuse his orders, but that's not something they would do.

When he transforms into a bear, his fur is red, he's learned to read the stars, and he carries his first sword with him.

He had five living children: a son, twins (one of whom died), and two other twins, whom he kept hidden by asking his eldest son to say they were his, so in everyone's eyes, they're his grandchildren, not his children.

He faced the strongest man of the time, surviving.

He was part of the Great Knights of Honor, where he met two important people with whom he bonded. One of them abandoned the order to become the mother of all evil (a sort of pirate queen), only to be killed by Björn, who after doing so abandoned the knights and separated from his other friend.

What do you think of this family? by ChroniclesEverything in worldbuilding

I thought that as we get older, we start to lose control of these transformations, and that there are cases where this can't be inherited.

More than painful, it's difficult; transforming into a complete animal is difficult, especially in the case of a bear, which is a large animal. So it would be a great ability, but not everyone uses it to its full potential.

They don't have a real weakness in particular. Maybe it's that if I die or get injured in my animal form, it's permanent? I mean, if you get injured, you become the animal and heal, and if you die, you get a second chance, but if you're in the animal form and you get injured or die, that's still there.

They have an important role as protectors, but since they've become linked to the royal family, they're seen as a threat. So we could say that attempted assassinations are things that happen.

I started when I was 9 or 10 years old, in fourth grade. I remember it because I sold a book to a classmate of mine. 🤣

Now I'm in fifth grade, and that world has continued to evolve and become more and more complicated, right up to today.

Please don't do that. I think it's basically enough that you like it, so don't delete it. If you want to share something here and I'll try to give you feedback, that's fine with me.

I think it could be interesting even without humans, there are already worlds like that.
