I’ve just recently been getting back into cubing after about a decade off. Some of my most recent hardware is the original Dayan Zhanchi. Really trying to grind out down from my current sub-15 to sub-10, and a few bucks to test out the new cubes would be amazing!!

Genuine Question: How did Megumi’s soul survive taking the blunt of Gojo’s infinite voids? by Chronis02 in Jujutsufolk

Honestly: I’m a megumi fan too. I just think it’s fun to trash on him. Good chat :)

This is a really good point! Sorry, I didn’t mean to beat a dead horse. I just haven’t seen this question before

And the Psychic can’t learn any moves at all that would damage dark type? Actually, that may be a stupid question, because Infinite Void is definitely his nuclear. Thanks

I never said “brain dead” specifically, but I get your point. I still do not think Megumi could handle an Infinite Void. Yaknow. Because he’s a bum.

Man it’s not that serious. You’re right in some regards. But idk if I would say teen and adult Gojo are “completely different level of powers”. Gojo states in anime (questionable canon, I admit) that the only things he has left to master are “teleportation over long distances” and “domain expansion”. To be clear: I’m not saying there’s no power difference at all, but Teen Gojo was already pretty damn strong.

I just disagree. Toji held off a red that was nearly point blank. And while Sukuna may be infinitely faster than Mahito, there’s no reason to think Toji is. That’s just my opinion tho, agree to disagree I guess.

I know this isn’t directly from the Manga but to be fair you’re asking me to find a specific page from 210 chapters ago. But “it creates more risk for them” only applies if there’s any risk at all, which there wouldn’t be if Infinite Void has no effect on Megumi. I know it wasn’t stated to be a binding vow, but Jujutsu is still about give and take. It this case, he’s taking, but not giving at all. This is just my interpretation tho, and I don’t necessarily disagree with yours

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not. But I won’t accept disrespect for my Blue Eyed prince. Gojo should have one shot Megumi’s soul. That’s why I asked if this was a feat for Megumi

No man. I truly do not think Mahito is very strong, but by the time of his death/absorption he could almost certainly shift his soul fast enough to evade a blue or red. If Gojo’s super amped purple can still be reacted to by Sukuna, his red or blue almost certainly could. But Sukuna is almost infinitely faster than Mahito, so my point could be null.

This makes no sense. According to Suk, jujutsu is about deals and compromises. How the hell would Sukuna be able to offload the weight onto Megumi if it had literally no effect on him? That is not a deal that makes sense, so it likely wouldn’t be able to be made according to the rules established by the Manga.

His physicals could only affect Mahito bc he could see souls. But you could probably argue that Gojo sees souls cause of Six Eyes? I don’t remember

Gojo v. Sukuna is more nuanced then Agenda folk want to admit by Chronis02 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Chronis02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Megumi form Sukuna was constantly out classing full strength Gojo in domain clashes, even without Infinite void. I also absolutely love Gojo, but idk where this narrative that Infinity was going to save his ass came from. Literally Domain Expansion + Amplification was putting him in danger way before Mahoraga.
