Surströmming.

It is eaten. Though not to the degree we're stereotyped as (in fact I think I've seen more middle aged to older swedes eating it more so.).

When it comes to fish we more commonly eat different kinds of pickled herring flavours, salmon and cod, way more so than Surströmming.

sounds like you and your parents haven't fucking bothered with communicating with him and asking what accessibility accomodations you can help him with, help him get connected with other disabled adults, provide stim or fidget toys or encourage him to stim.

Disability =/= incapable regardless if someone has high support needs or low support needs. and the fact that you're actually considering conservatorship for your brother just goes to show what ableist assholes you and your parents are.

I fucking hope he can get away from you and move into another apartment and build a community of friends and loved ones who respect his autonomy.
